Detailed Itinerary for 7 days Chimpanzee tracking Queen and Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer to booked accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala

Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver/safari guide to transfer you to your booked hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and check in for your stay.

Day 2: Travel from Kampala or Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park

After your breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo national park with a stopover at the Uganda equator for coffee, and photos and get a few souvenirs if you like. We will then embark on the journey to Lake Mburo. Upon your arrival, you will have lunch and head out for an afternoon boat ride where you will have high opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife and aquatic birds. From your boat cruise, you will go for an evening game drive, a good chance of spotting lots of wild games, especially antelopes. Return to the lodge later in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game drive and Nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park

Wake up to an early morning game drive to catch some action in the wild if you’re lucky. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast, refresh and get some time of relaxation as you wait for lunch after which you will have an evening nature walk to identify and learn about the different plant species of Mburo as well as birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer from Lake Mburo to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, check out of the safari lodge and with your packed lunch depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will drive through the Ishasha sector to view the tree-climbing lions. Drive to your safari lodge and check in, have some refreshing cup of juice and set out for an evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning Game drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

After your breakfast, you will have a morning game drive and perhaps catch the action you may have missed out on in the evening game drive the previous day. Return from the morning game drive and get some time to relax before lunch, after which you will set out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Return from your adventure to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning Game drive, Kyambura gorge Chimp tracking and visit Crater Lakes.

After breakfast, you will set out to Kyambura gorge, take pictures at the viewing point and later after briefing you will go deep into Kyambura for a Chimpanzee tracking experience. Return to the lodge for lunch and after head out to explore the scenic crater lakes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Travel back from Queen Elizabeth to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

After your breakfast, we will exit the park driving to Kampala with a lunch stop at Igongo cultural centre. Drop off at your booked hotel/airport. Meal plan: H/B
