From your hotel of residence, meet our safari guide, who will take you on the tour around Kampala, the capital city. Originally built on seven hills, Kampala has grown to cover quite a few beautiful hills. You will visit the National Theatre and Uganda Museum to look at creative local arts and crafts provided by the different cultures of Uganda. We drive to Bahai Temple, passing via Makerere University, the oldest institution of higher learning in Uganda.
Thereafter, visit Kasubi Tombs, the UNESCO heritage site that burned down into ashes, for Buganda Story narrations. To share the Buganda Kingdom values and norms, we then visit the Namugongo Shrine, the Uganda martyrs’ burial grounds. Proceed to Kabaka’s Lake for a close look at Africa’s largest man-made excavated lake for bird watching, butterfly watching, and scenic viewing.
